Wedding Officiant Services and Extra Fees
Planning your dream wedding? We offer a range of services to suit your needs, including Civil Wedding and Symbolic Wedding ceremonies.

Symbolic Wedding
A Symbolic Wedding is a non-legally binding ceremony that allows you to celebrate your commitment to each other without the legal requirements of a civil marriage. It offers a more personalized and unique way to exchange vows and declare your love. Symbolic Weddings are ideal for couples who have already completed the legal formalities or want to have a customized ceremony that reflects their love story.

Civil Wedding
A Civil Wedding is a legally recognized marriage ceremony officiated by a government official or notary public. It ensures that your marriage is legally binding and provides you with a valid marriage certificate. If you're looking for an official and formal ceremony, the Civil Wedding service is the perfect choice for you.

International Wedding Certificate

For weddings that need to have legal effects in another country, the International Wedding Certificate (Apostille), covers the process of authenticating the marriage certificate through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Costa Rica, translating the document through an official translator (English), and subsequently sending it to your country of residence. This price applies to United States or Canada (prices may vary depending on the country to which the document has to be sent via regular mail).

It is important for the couple to check whether their country is part of the Apostille Convention in order for the apostilled marriage certificate to be valid in their country. Each country or state has different regulations, so please make sure to review the requirements for validating foreign marriages with your local government beforehand.
